A tool for those working on OU's greenhouse gas inventory to maintain a detailed record of data collection. This inventory is in compliance with requirements of the Presidents Climate Commitment, to which OU recently signed on.
Conversion for steam pounds to MMBTU: 1000 lbs of steam = 1 kilopound (KLB); 1 MMBTU = 1 million BTU; to convert, take total lbs. of steam/1000 to get MMBTU. e.g. 50,000 lbs steam x 1000 BTU/lb = 50,000,000 BTU/(1,000,000 BTU/MMBTU) = 50 MMBTU
